Yes. The first lesson in each course is free forever — no payment and no email needed, just your phone number. You only pay when you want to unlock the rest.
Simple M-Pesa prices: KES 30 for a Daily Pass (24 hours of everything), KES 500 Monthly, or KES 1,000 for the whole Term. On a paid lesson, tap the pay button and complete the M-Pesa prompt on your phone — access unlocks straight away.
Give it up to a minute — the “Resend code” button shows a countdown and becomes available at 0:00. Check that you typed your Safaricom number correctly (07XX XXX XXX). If it still doesn't arrive after resending, wait a few minutes and try again.
On the log-in page tap “Forgot your password?”, enter your phone number and a new password, and we'll text you a code to confirm it's you. Enter the code and your new password is set.
Every practice question changes its numbers each time you attempt it, so you learn the method rather than memorising one answer. You get instant feedback and a worked solution, and reaching 80% masters a topic.
No. SchoolMate works in your phone's web browser. You sign up with just your name, phone number and a password — no app, no email.
Email us at support@schoolmate.co.ke or use the Feedback link in the menu, and we'll help. Tell us your phone number and what happened.
We collect only what's needed to run your account: your name and Safaricom phone number, and — if you pay — the M-Pesa/card transaction handled by our payment provider (Paystack). We use it to give you access, send verification codes, and text parents your progress. We never sell your data. To ask what we hold about you, or to have your account and data deleted, email support@schoolmate.co.ke.
